For a long time, 720P and 1080P has been considered as the highest resolution for all types of videos and displays. Recently 4K displays, videos and cameras become popular among everyone. Many new higher end Smartphones and cameras were introduced with 4K video recording option. Also, popular video sharing web apps like YouTube, Vimeo, etc., has introduced 4K uploading option. Seeing a 4K video will consume a lot of bandwidth from your Internet connection. The easiest way is, you can download your favorite videos in 4K resolution. Unfortunately, the normal YouTube video downloaders will not retain the 4K quality while downloading. So, today I’ve come with a new application called “4K Video downloader“ to download videos in 4K resolution without losing its quality.
4K video downloader is a free application available for Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. You can download the app from its official website using the link below. Once you complete the installation, you can see a window with a set of options in the top menu bar. The interface is very simple and easy to understand. To start downloading the videos, click the “Paste URL†icon in the top left corner, the app will automatically start downloading the video URL in your Clipboard. So, all you have to do is just copy the URL from video sharing sites and click the “Paste URL†icon in the application.
Apart from downloading the videos, it has few other useful options like downloading an entire playlist of a channel, downloading videos in various formats and resolutions, etc. When you click the download option, it will show highest resolution of the video in the top and lowest resolution at the bottom. You can choose the video format you need in the right side drop down box and start downloading. There is a “Smart Mode†in the application, which lets you customize and quickly download the video.
You can enable Smart mode from the top menu bar, where you can choose the format, the quality of the video and the folder where you need to save the video. The app has an option to download subtitles along with the video. Also, you can download 3D videos without losing its quality. Apart from YouTube, it supports Vimeo, Facebook and Dailymotion.
