For Smartphones and Tablets there are plenty of third party apps were available to automate tasks on the device. Automation is nothing but assigning predefined actions for different process on your device. Tasker is one of the famous automation tool for Android but it is a premium app. Today I came with a free automation tool called Mini Tasker, which has all the features of the Tasker application. Let’s have a look at the features and functions of the app below.
You can download the app from Play store using the link below. Once you complete the installation, you can see a blank home page with a “+†symbol and a cloud icon at the top. Tap the “+†icon to see different categories of tasks you can automate on your device. The  first one on the list is the “App and Music Actionsâ€. In that you have three different options to automate music related apps on your device, based on various conditions. For instance, if you want to launch an app as soon as you connect the headphone, you can do it here.
Next set of actions you can automate is the Calls, SMS and Notifications. As I said before, you can auto adjust the volume of the ringtone for different calls and send an automatic message for the  calls you disconnect. Set a custom text for the notifications you receive, block SMS and phone calls from a particular number or a set of numbers. Also you can send a custom text message to a particular person when you can’t attend or disconnect the call.
Third category of options is Battery and Screen related actions. In the first option, “Connectivity and Sensors†you  can control the WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, background sync, switch on or switch off mobile data and put the phone in airplane mode based on various conditions. Next one is the screen brightness. You have plenty of options to adjust the screen brightness based on different timings and conditions. Then “Terminate Running Apps†section will show you all the apps on your device to choose and assign a condition to terminate the apps automatically.
The cloud icon on the top of the home page will show you all the popular automation tasks used by other users. So you can also choose from them but it needs an Internet connection. It is one of the best automation tool with a zero price tag.
